Really great meal. Oh, and the dessert. Yum?
Did not want the Chef menu but the wife wanted it all. She was RIGHT I Loved all 6 course.
I wish I could say this met my expectations but I was really hoping for more. I had a quail appetizer followed by a duck breast entree. Both were very good--excellent flavors and cooked to perfection. I ordered a couple drinks from the bar, unique but not earth shattering. My wife had a caesar salad and steak. The steak was tender and tasty but served with poor presentation. The meat looked limp and unappealing. For dessert we had a chocolate cake, port and coffee. I'm torn because the food was great, but something was missing from the experience to make me feel satisfied shelling out the money for a restaurant in the Ritz.
Best meal I've had in SF. The asparagus soup was light and tasty. The black cod was melt in your mouth and super rich with miso dressing. Yumm. I couldn't get the head chef to give me the recipe. Then I ended it with passion fruit dessert which was great way to end the meal. Tangy and light. I met the pastry chef there as well. She looks like she enjoys her work alot.
Californian food, mmm, yummy. very appetizing. i look forward to a return visit. this place has an awesome atmosphere. similar to a place in denver i loved.
Great service with exceptionally crafted food for dinner. Even the morning buffet breakfast was great!
Gréât service, knowledge and friendly staff. Delicious food! Romantic atmosphere
Nice decor and ambiance, a bit quiet for a Saturday night. Food was great - can't complain but not so much of a wow factor. The octopus was a highlight and the halibut. Service was good .. we were the for our anniversary and they gave us a hand written card signed by the staff 💕
californian food at this spot - very tasty. Food was so tasty. The service here is friendly. Food is like a place in Baltimore I loved.
Very cozy restaurant in the Ritz Carlton hotel, where we now live. Stylish design, friendly staff and a great variety of a la carte breakfast menu, including even a home kombuchu with ginger and detox smuzi. I recommend to everyone a stunning omelette with truffle, burrata and spinach for 75 dollars and branded huevos rancheros. A wonderful breakfast in a homely atmosphere.
Never had a bad dish here let alone a bad meal. Tasting menu compares well to Michelin starred restaurants'. Service is excellent
Californian food and the setting at this location is super good. This place is absolutely outstanding. Fast, efficient, and courteous service. Menu is similar to a restaurant in El Paso I loved.
Was staying here for the duration of my stay while I was in SF and came here for breakfast the day of my flight since I did not want to travel far out just hours before my flight. And I was given once last treat before I left as I thought the food and service here was both very well done.I ordered myself a latte and the huevos rancheros. The latte was great as I needed something to wake me up and the rancheros fed my hunger as every bite only wanted me to follow that up with an immediate bite right there after. Very well done, will be back here next time I am staying at this hotel while visiting the San Francisco area.
We came here for a late lunch once, and (while perfectly enjoyable) my feeling was that this is more of a dinner place. Lunch was served in a large, bright room outside the restaurant. The menu was quite limited, featuring only various essentials. I had the spaghetti pomodoro, which was pretty tasty. Service was very friendly. Nice spot if you want a quiet lunch away from the crowd.
fantastic brunch but is a bit pricey
Food quality and quantity were very good
San Fran's best restaurant
One of my fav locations for californian food. I'll return with my friends. Food is like a restaurant in Louisville I liked.
Californian food, so tasty. the food was amazing.
Really, really good, we told them about are crazy diet restrictions and they still blew us away.
Californian food and the scene at this place is great. It was so savory. Certainly worth going back to.
The setting of this restaurant located at the Ritz is beautiful! Their salt and pepper prawns are what I always order. Their won-ton soup is amazing. If you're coming here to just dine, my suggestion is to valet park as they validated parking. =D
Fantastic wine selection and excellent food - totally worth making a trip to Parallel 37. Also, be sure to save room for dessert!
portions small and pricey.
really cool and chic spot for drinks. Sat in the lounge and had a drink called Fair Game which was great. Anything with fernet is a no brainer. Although I thought drinks were priced slightly higher, but it is the Ritz. Come for a drink or two to cap off the night!
I liked it
I was super underwhelmed. Perhaps I ordered wrong but for the price and location, I was expecting a lot more. The cheese plate was very good, delicious options and a honey foam that was really interesting. The tuna tartare was just average. The salad was good, but a overdressed. Overall, a lot of room for improvement.
Fantastic food. Great service. Lacks a bit of atmosphere.
The best all-around dinner value for your buck: rivals all the best restos with flavor, presentation, ambiance, casual service, without the pretention and hype. Portions are perfectly sized (3-course rather than a gazillion) with great wine selection and pairing, really an understated hidden gem in SF. Been here twice and 2 for 2 excellent meals and service so it is consistent. Lamb and pork loin was amazing, as was everything else. Super friendly down to earth staff, and noise factor was perfect. They truly deserve more notice.
Parallel 37 is our favorite S.F. restaurant(we have lived here 43 years). We always enjoy the food and its presentation. The service is outstanding. The ambiance is to our liking and we can actually hear each other in conversation! Wine recommendations are excellent with interesting options including international vineyards previously unknown to us. We celebrated a "big" anniversary here with family and friends. The event was perfect!
Such a cute place! Recently went to Parallel 37 for a happy hour and found that it was affordable and in a great neighborhood! The chef was very hands on and the staff attentive. I didn't have anything to eat so I have to go back especially since they have a $65 three course meal on the menu!
The food looked beautiful and so was the restaurant. Everything tasted fine, but wasn't anything special, or even memorable, particularly for the high price. I went on a Saturday night and only 4-5 tables were occupied, which should've been an indocator. Again the food was ok but for the cost, you won't get nearly your money's worth. The only exception was the chocolate dessert, which was wonderful.
Service was excellent however the food was moderate and ambiance poor. We celebrated our anniversary there and they provided a complimentary glass of champagne and small desert. The lighting was overly bright and atmosphere was more hotel buffet than cozy romantic.
Simply special! Always can expect the great service from the Ritz and the prix menu was excellent wth flavors and selections that please. The chefs selection provides market fresh choices and when paired with wine a most tantalizing invigorating experience! Cost is worth the presentation and work that goes into the food.
Elegant fine cuisine
Great restaurant inside the Ritz-Carlton SF
